It is time to create your own MoJo.

16 Aug

There is a time in ones life where you must take responsibility for your actions, and for your feelings. When someone is object referenced they are dependent – sadly so… on others to fuel their positive energies, and far worse, are unable to ignore negativity when it comes upon them. I often hear and see posts regarding “IT IS TIME TO GET RID OF THE NEGATIVITY IN MY LIFE” How often do you say that, push people away, and end up lonely before you realize that the negativity is within you. You cannot rely on other people to motivate you, you cannot rely on other people to give you what you are unable to give yourself. You cannot continuously push people out of your life because they are not giving you the positive attention you feel you deserve. It is time to create your own Mojo.

The Chick-fil-a spirit…

6 Jan

In 1946 the founder of Chick-fil-a made the desicion to close their restaurants on Sunday to give their employees the opportunity to worship if they chose to or simply rest. Truett Cathy and his family – I have been reading…. run some very amazing marriage retreat organizations and youth support foundations in addition to their restaurant chain.  Wow so much more than fast food. As you all know I am not a fan of fast food at all… but what prompted this bit was a salad that my client Christy picked up at Chick-fil-a last night -

I got pretty excited over the cabbage!! Anyway – to the point – a great healthy option – and I love that the founders of Chick-fil-a are such a quality group of people and have their eye on the big idea!

How can I be spiritually motivated?

4 Jan

I was asked by a client –  How can I get motivated spiritually when I’m an atheist?

My spirituality revolves around my relationship with God; yours however does not have to.  Spiritually I am motivated through generosity and gratefulness. These lessons can be learned by you in a different way. I focus my energies on doing what I feel is God’s plan for me – but I think for anyone, knowing that the generous choice is never the wrong one will help you find that fundamental peace that will guide you through the spiritual journey of your choice.
